Halloa RC people

happy 2021 first of all! let's make this a (far) better year then the last one...

On to RC matters then: Diatone have themselves their own receivers nowdays.. You might have noticed some of their new quads are offered with these to make them BNF options...
BUT.. is that a legit option???

Let's see if those receivers actually work out well...

Diatone Mamba MSR Receiver - 100% R-XSR Compatible?? (25 min 3 sec)

Do you have experience with these receivers (probably in some kind of Diatone BNF quad)??
I wanna know how that worked out for you!

Halloa people,

while finishing up a recent FPV quad build I think I should do a tool-tip-video on one of the tools I regularly use for builds.. Sooooo here it is I guess

Link to it: Hawkeye 2.5 or 3.5 inch AIO FPV Monitor

I also designed a mount for the monitor to set it up on a Jumpter T16 / T18 or Radiomaster TX16 radio... More on that in the video

Tool Tip: Hawkeye Little Pilot - Small FPV Workbench Monitor :) (9 min 11 sec)

Halloa people,

some of you might know the Rush brand from their VTX's, and if your into FPV drones, you know them for Sure
In 2019 they also released a 20x20 electronics stack, but it had header-pin connectors so I skipped those :$

This year however they have added several 30.5 x 30.5 stuff to their lineup and in the product pics it all looks great!

So I ordered me some stuff.. Here is a first overview of what I received!
In future video's I'll be assembling them into actual drones AND I'll test-fly the stuff

Halloa people,

A brand new version of this 1/18th scale MT from Haiboxing

I personally have the 2020 revised version but the the car has been around for several years..

Differences from what I know:
+ minor differences in looks of the shell
+ old one came with 650mah 2S lipo's. New one comes with 850mah 2S lipo's
+ old one had JST battery plugs. New ones has Deans connectors on the battery
+ old one had a Chevron tire-patters. New ones has a scattered-block pattern on it's tires..

I'll be posting up a couple of video's on the car, but feel free to add Yours!
And questions / upgrades / tips & tricks are always welcome

Halloa people

have we arrived at the end of the line for analogue FPV camera's? I think there will still be improvements in these camera's because they are also used in the automotive industry (back-up camera's for instance)..

One of the most popular analogue FPV camera's is definitely the Foxeer Predator line.. So.. new version? Wurth a look I think

Link to the micro version: Foxeer Predator v5 micro

So.. let's see what these camera's are like

Halloa RC people

a while back I did a review of the (then new) ISDT Q6 Nano charger which has since then been my "field charger"..
That does NOT mean however that it's at all perfect :P

So I wanted to try it's slightly bigger brother.. the Q8 to see how much more you get for the extra $$

And I think it was wurth a video in case you are looking for a handy charger to stick into your backpack...
