I never thought using superglue / CA for building a balsa plane would speed up the building process in an ungodly manner. This also applies for when you've sanded away too much and quickly have to add balsa strips to correct mistakes 
I've added an extra 1.5mm carbon rod for more stiffness. Also, ... I'm hitting a wall here. The CG is becoming a problem as I guesstimated correctly
While I kept 98% of the proportions according to plan, the motor up front and the added balsa in the fuselage for strength, tips the balance point heavily towards nose heavy when dry fitting a battery in the space originally planned. I have to do some free style scratch building to solve this without adding too much useless weight in the back. Or design an altered fuselage with a shorter nose. *Edit* OR trying to stuff most of the FPV gear in the back / on the tail 
**Edit** Nope, i shortened the fuselage with a good two inches. It will work but space for gear is limited... Back to the drawing board. Either design a new, longer tail section or a complete new fuselage and change the looks completely.

This super early this morning (October 25th, 2020 ) at Central Florida must have been the best weather conditions ever in a long time! Completely Dead Calm and cool temps.
Flew my modified Park Zone Spitfire Mk IX for two (2)_ wonderful flights and the very first one was pretty much alone by my self and before anyone else came to fly at my alternate RC Flying Site. I was able to fly this Spitfire one click below Half Throttle and it was majestic scale flight. Now I understand Why-O-Why I like to lighten all my models as it provides Scale effects and I was able to command the model in super slow level flight.
Second flight was exciting at best because a buddy finally arrived and he and I decided to fly in Formation, however, it turned out into a racing match and guess who passed the other and won? My Spitfire!
Before heading to this alternate RC Flying Site I was able to touch UP the Spitfire model with some acrylic paint(s) and it looks terrific!

The changes they made
Starting with the new ecu......
- GSU connects via a servo cable, no longer the large dateline cable used on all the dinosaur systems.
- Smaller, lighter, much more processing power.
- Due to more processing power, lower idle RPM, faster accel/decel is capable due to higher RPM accuracy.
- Single cable from ECU to engine (seperate valve and pump cables).
- More adjustable parameters including preset accel/decel curves all custom to every engine built for maximum performance.
Now the engine........
- Starting with a brand new Billet CNC compressor adding more power and efficiency. Thrust=3.8kg! With a weight penalty of <5grams.
- Single cable braided into a special connector used for the new ECU.
- Redesigned combustion chamber, exhaust/thrust nozzle, center cone, stronger welds.
- Micro JST added to starter motor wires from factory to aid in removing and installing fod screen.

Plastic APC 13/6.5 with spinner caused excessive vibration. -

An APC 13/4 without spinner eliminates all vibration when the included centering ring is used. This prop did not need any balancing. The stock wood 13/6 prop is saved for later use. -
