Saturday found us on the SE Bowl with a SE to ESE wind. The lift was great at times, with a 10-15mph breeze. Lots of great flying. Although by the end of the day the wind began swinging to the East.
Excuse the shortage of pictures. We're getting ready for our annual Oregon trip and I for one spent most of my time tuning my planes (Twist and Gillette) before packing. Just 10 more days, Hood River and Cape Blanco here we come....yeah!

Praise the wind gods! We had a steady 15mph wind out of the East and it was "rock n' roll" time. No electrics and handlauches today. Slopers, foamies and combat wings were the order of the day. As usual I arrived fashionably late causing me to miss out on the combat and a nasty mid-air or two between crunchies .

Someone once said Florida has only 3 seasons....early summer, middle summer and late summer! It was another hot Saturday. Virtually no wind. Only the lighest floaters and electrics were up. We definitely made a rush down to or favorite restaurant for lots of cold ice tea and AC at closing time.
