This weekend I got to attend the 1st ever indoor fly in at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach Fl. where I graduated from 23 years ago. It was sponsored by E.R.A.U. Eagles model airplane club. I was the president of this club back in 1985 and 1986.
I want to thank the current president Kevin Garland for putting on the show and inviting local pilots to come have fun.
The gym was divided in two with some cones. Racetrack flying on one side and 3D flying on the other. There was a spot landing contest and a freestyle contest.
