The boats are great when at the beach but cars go almost anywhere.

the 1/5 scale 4x4 is a beast and a huge amount of fun. The 1/8 beside it is way to loud and is about to get "E"'d

After a false start with the first boat, i bought a replacement.
These Ebay toys are a hoot.

As the school holidays approach i decided to find some toys that i could share with my kids.

The big boat is an Ebay special, it runs a 26cc gas motor. I filled the internal cavity with foam as we plan on running it at the beach. If we loose it it wont kill us buti hope we will have lots of fun.

The smaller boat is a pro boat mini-v for the swimming pool, that shouldalso entertain

the shed

today at the heli club.

The weather this morning was amazing, i packed light raptor 50 , trex 600 and mini-titan only.

6 flights on the raptor 50 were very sweet and comforting, the machine is solid and dependable. Although i love E there are great benefits in fueling up and flying for 12 mins a tank then repeating.

Mini-t is finally sorted, the head dampners and blade spacers made a world of difference, flips and rolls are spectacular, this is the machine to knock the trex off its perch, today showed me the potential is there and its under 1/2 the price.
FP 2170 packs are certainly top of the heap right now and are very impressive.

Trex 600 needed to come out for a play after the satallite dx7 rx was replaced. This machine on 10s a123 cells continues to impress. I finally have it in a happy place where i can run a low HS of 1800 and the heli is happy to cruise around. Bump it up and the climb rate is scary in a very good way.

Finally i feel like my flying is progressing and i am much happier tearing up in the sky these days.

I have been looking for a vinyl cutter for quite a while now and finally i found one. Roland Stika 15sx. The software is pretty basic so i can work it ok. Now i just need to find some artistic ability so i can make pretty canopy stickers.

I have been playing with RC toys for a few years now and have quite a collection.
Over the years i have built up a series of shops that i choose to deal with that have been pleasurable shopping experiences. As i am in Australia local shopping is a hit and miss affair with the latest greatest toys so most of my $$ goes offshore.

took these to the field today

After spending so much time playing with other toys i am finally getting back to the little ones.
I have now a CF framed trex as my defacto sim, it is powered by a z-power 450 3300kv motor 13t pinion and a hacker 40 amp heli esc. It is a great little throw about as it is rugged and durable. The canopy is a high vis orange and its easy for me to see in the sky.
I used this heli for the first loops and rolls i have ever done and it is a fun machine.

Due to neglect the SE hasnt been touched in months. I am now redoing it to run on my hybrid 2610 spektrum radio. It is getting a new z-power 3800kv motor and new jeti 33 spin esc. I am looking forward to playing with this combo as i expect plenty of power and the ability to review data logs directly from the esc. I think a 401 and 9256 may find a home here as well.

The third rex will get some work after this. It will keep the quark and 1107 motor, but may get a few of the newer bling bits for the tail
