I just finished up my new MythoS125e from SebArt last night, and flew it for the first time this morning. If anyone is on the fence on buying this plane you need to pull the trigger on this one. The airplane is very well designed and flies extremely well. The plane is just shy of a full 2M pattern plane (approximately 3" short of 2M") so the airplane when flown at pattern distances presents much like a full 2M plane. Here is my setup:

MythoS 125E
Hacker A60-6XS v2
Spektrum H6040 Servos on Ailerons and Rudder
Spektrum H5010 Servos on Elevators
Spektrum AR8000 DSMX Reciever
Hobbywing HV120 ESC with Soft Braking enabled for down-line braking
2- 6S 3300mah Lipo Batteries in parallel to equal 6S 6600mah.
APC 18x12e Wide Propeller (needs a little bigger prop will test a 19x12e next)

With the above setup I was able to fly the entire F3A P-13 Sequence plus about 5 additional practice maneuvers and used 4450mah (67% of the capacity).

The MythoS is a great practice plane for the seasoned pattern flyer, and a great airframe for those who want to compete in pattern without costing as much as some of the higher end pattern planes of today.

Just got back from the international "The Bruce" F3K competition, wow what a great time! Got to see some old friends, and made a ton of new friends. There was a total of 77pilots and the competition was really stiff as the field was made up of the best of the best in F3K from all around the world. This event took place in Bruce Davidson's backyard aka "The Thermal Farm," and between the terrain, heat, and constantly changing lift conditions the event was really challenging. Overall, I was very pleased with my performance placing 11th overall barely missing the finals by 6pts. I learned alot about F3K this weekend, and should be able to eliminate a few mistakes for the next contest. Definately going to put the 2011 "The Bruce" on my calendar for next year.

On May 29th, I finally finished my LSF Level IV. It had been almost 11years since I worked on any LSF stuff and since I recently got back into sailplane flying I figured it was time to get it done. It was an awesome day to be flying, clear skies, good lift, and lots of flying. The day started with a goal in mind, and that was to finish my LSF level IV by completing my 2km(4km total) goal and return XC flight. We spent most of the morning fun flying until enough witnesses showed up to get the show on the road. Adam was knocking out his LSF level II duration flight when some people started filtering in to the flying field, so I grabbed my Superstar, launched to the moon and started looking for lift. About 10minutes later I had specked out the Superstar and decided it was time to hop in the bed of Adam Quennoz's pickup and start driving/flying to our goal distance and turn around point. Off we went down the road and made it to the turnaround point with out any issue, but about half way back to the field the air cycled out and I landed out. So back to the field we go. I put the Superstar on charge and got some DLG practice in. Now that the Superstar was fresh off charge I decided to give it another go. So I launched, and couldn't find any lift worth circling in, so I decided to land and relaunch. I relaunched and fiddled around in some spotty air for about 7 minutes never exceeding launch height, and was beginning to think that we'd have to try to get the XC done another day.
