Finally I finished the Bf-109 my wife got me for Christmas a few years ago. Sorry about the poor lighting. I'll get some better shots tomorrow afternoon.

I thought I'd post a couple of screen prints from a new concept profile I'm working on. I need something new to fly over the pond in the backyard. Requirements: must be something Navy, must be WWI or II, profile is okay, but it must have some fun options, and it must be cheap enough to loose to the drink - GWS parts it is.

Answer: Avenger. I'll do a full build thread in the Scratch built foamies later, but I thought I might check the water with my own Blog.

I still need to work out, servo and battery placement, as well as the internal sacrificial torpedo dropping mechanism.

I figure a place to post this will keep me motivated to finish it. I plan to post plans as soon as I can, if anyone's interested in building in parallel. It should be a simple little bird.

P.S. I just finished James Bradley's Flyboys. Excellent book about the air war in the Pacific, specifically the Battle of Chichi Jima; and the inspiration for this model.
