Had a blast again this year!

Looks like we might have a gig going on here! I started bantering about a Diggs/Jamie reunion tour and as often happens my synaptic misfires ricocheted around until something started happening.

What I am proposing is a podcast mash up/cage match. Diggs and Jamie are in as well as the big man, Crash and I believe Tim. Hopefully we are going to get a full boat and have all the Girthiest of the RC world on board. No specifics yet nor date but more to come soon. If you have any suggestions or wanna get in on the party, HOLLA!

PEACE!

Bildo had a blast this year at both SEFF and Nall and is crazy stoked to do it again! I will be doing some more vidz soon. Some old stuff and some as yet to be released stuff. The MacBook has been upgraded and should be able to crank some serious Girth now.

Thanks to everyone that made 2012 the bestest gig yet and lets do it again...SOON!

I have also procured my own domain name but have not decided what to do with it yet. Seemed like a good idea at the time

I have been talking up Apple for a while now and so far have several iPhones in the house as well as the Apple TV which have all been absolutely flawless and I have zero regret or buyers remorse over. Since I was so impressed with these and I was having so much issue getting videos edited and published with my POS Toshiba, I snapped and pulled the trigger on a MacBook Pro 13" a week ago. After my 1st full day as a Mac user, here is my first blush at it.

The first thing I will address is build quality. To put it simply, there is none better and I challenge anyone to point it out if there is. The one piece machined case is beautiful simplicity and there is zero flex in it unless you really manhandle the pooh out of it. The keyboard is easily one of the best I've used on a laptop, is laid out very well and is backlit nicely. I may be in the dark about a back space key but it is labeled "delete" and performs as one. Don't know where the traditional delete is or if there even is one. The touch pad is huge which is a good thing but I generally dislike touch pads and use a mouse unless in a pinch. It is also different in that the pad is your button and is tactile with a discernible click as opposed to touch or tap sensitive. No left and right click stuff but the USB mouse does. Also no more cursor jumping around and me typing something in the middle of my document because my big ape thumb accidentally tapped the pad. The display hinge feels sturdy and when opening...Continue Reading

I have just returned from Dragon*Con 2008 and it was off the hook. I have always been a closet Sci-Fi geek but never went to any of the events. A few years ago my wife Kristin was forced to watch an episode of Star Trek Next Gen and unbeknownst to me became hooked on Sci-Fi. After seeing Firefly and Battlestar Galactica she is a full blown fangirl of the Sci-Fi channel. Long story short, this year she hauled me to Atlanta and we were chilling with the Storm Troopers, Super Heroes, gnomes and fairies.

If you've never been to one of these things, I highly recommend it. No matter if you are a fan of Sci-Fi/Fantasy or not, you are guaranteed to be entertained in some way or another. I hear the after parties are outrageous.

Anyway, here are some pics I snapped while cruising the hotels.
