I got a chance to duck out and do some sloping today.
The forecast only called for a 1 hr window of the correct direction wind,I have wanted to get out with my 3m Crystal to see if she flew as well on the slope as she had for her maiden "flat land " outing .
Please see below :

While I am attempting to sharpen up my old rusty piloting skills in order to maiden the SE-5a and Fokker DVIII, moving on with a larger build
of the Vindicator.
This will be a very light weight build hopefully. Details in the build log here:

Because of the COVID confinement, this was a complicated and pretty quick build. Very happy with how it turned out and flies.

Southfacing got some great flight video too, flying like a DR1.

My build thread is in progress here:

Now to finish the 1922 Barling bomber.

Thank you Banggood for providing this Aircraft for Review!

This Warbird comes in a PNF and RTF Version.
I chose the PNF Version so I could use my Hobby-Grade Transmitter

Having "Murphy" with me every step of the way made for a very difficult Review.
It seemed as though, anything that could go wrong, went wrong ;-)
I've never rolled the Outtakes on a Review but this one certainly deserves it ;-)

VY2004 3150kv is really amazing design for 4S 5" ultralight sub-250g BNF drone.

but 1950kv is good for 6S if you not have weight requirement .

would like to hear your building and suggestions

The Coandă-1910, designed by Romanian inventor Henri Coandă was an unconventional aircraft powered by a 50 hp inline water-cooled Clerget internal combustion engine driving a ducted fan through a 1:4 gearbox which turned the 50cm compressor at 4,000 rpm. Coandă called it a "turbo-propulseur".

The exhaust from the piston engine was additionally vented into the duct via heat exchangers in contact with the central air flow to add heat and mass. Aviation reporters from The Aero and La Technique Aeronautique at that time were doubtful that the engine could provide sufficient thrust for flight.

The unusual aircraft attracted attention at the Second International Aeronautical Exhibition in Paris in October 1910, being the only exhibit without a propeller.

It is doubtful that the aircraft ever actually flew and is mired in controversy.

However, Coandă claims the aircraft did achieve a single short flight while ground testing the engine at Issy-les-Moulineaux, outside Paris in 1910, the powerplant forcing the plane airborne for a short time. As Coandă himself was not a pilot, he quickly lost control of the aircraft and crashed it to the ground throwing him clear of the burning wreckage with some slight injuries.

Despite the loss of the machine, Coandă noted how the expelled gases seemed to conform to the sides of his aircraft as it burned. This observation would lead Coandă to research the phenomenon culminating as the &...Continue Reading

Finally starting my Jupiter Duck after 3 year i saw for the first time. Materials arrived today and they weight about 69grams. The come from Hoosier Coutout Service. I also ordered a Slowly V2 36in. My son ( 8 year ) wanted to Duck i started with that .

Some of the question i need to answer, i just put it in a list so i remember:
-Aprox final weight (without electronics)
-What motor should i use if i do not have a weight. I will still go with the recomendations from the designer or something clos.
-Where to buy the electronics in a kit or combo, motor/esc/servos/batery. I am new on RC and prefer to learn how to solder on other plane.
-What paint to use that do not affet weght too much...i want orange and yellow...but i need to defind that before start learning.
-Define best way to have a removable wing , i want to have access to electronics.
-Define if battery needs to go in a lower position. if so i need to redo the plans.

It will be fun.

I flew the Bee with a 2s 1000mAh battery and

It kind of blew chunks at slow speed . All that weight just made slow speed performance = Not that great . The Bee was just shimming left and right all the time and I can't help but think that was possibly because I was close to stall speed . Cranking some power and the Bee flew just fine with more velocity .

Since I am a fan of flying slow rather than fast , something needed doing .

1) That x450 motor is just hanging too far out the back needing large batteries for CG
2) Solution is simple , move the motor further in .
3) So I cut the foam motor mount off , printed up a new PLA part
4) Using a 480mAh 2s battery , I slowly cut away foam till I got to a point where I thought I could live with things . ( Moving motor forward )

It's all glued and ready to rock and or stroll !
Less flying weight should hopefully equal better low speed flying characteristics .

Hello Everyone,

This is Max Current 5mm to 4mm Bullet Reducer.

This is a pack of two Max Current 5mm to 4mm Bullet Reducers. These reducers are great if you typically use 4mm bullets, but happen to have a LiPo with 5mm bullet holes, and don't want to put 5mm bullets on your ESC. Instead, install these reducers into the 5mm hole in your battery, and now they're compatible with a 4mm bullet connector.

If you are interested in,Please feel free to contact me. Thank you!

Best Regards,
