Carbon Python Glider at Bluff Park (1 min 59 sec)

Everyone that I fly with has been asking me how fast my plane is. I have finally put a GPS unit in my plane to get an idea of what it's doing.

I did 4 flights today. Running a Graphen 1400 MA 4S battery 75 C discharge.

1St. flight 151 MPH with a APC 4.75 x 5.5 prop.

2nd flight 141 MPH with a 5.2x5.2 graupner prop.

3rd flight 158 MPH with APC 4.75 x 5.5 prop.

4th flight 181 MPH with APC 4.75 x 5.5 prop.

Not sure how accurate this GPS unit really is, but I like that 181 MPH number.

I think it's time to move up to a 6S battery.

Getting the landings dialed in and getting comfortable flying it faster.

This is the second version of the Carbon Python. Lighter and faster.
The first one was 26 Oz. This one is 21 Oz. The main difference is the motor.
Running a T motor F-80 and ESC DYS Aria 70a. Also running KST HV servos

Carbon Python #2 (3 min 18 sec)

Well the first prototype was flying great. But on the very first hand launch I had a very hard hit into the ground which resulted in a crack on the upper surface of the right wing. I was still very flyable as is so I chose to fly it,
I had several great flights off the bungee but unfortunately I pulled just a few to many G's on the last flight and the wing let go due to the crack. It is very repairable but I'm going to build another one.



The goal is to build one as light as I can with the same material as last time just less weight and different layup schedule for the fuselage

New motor, ESC and battery will be most of the weight saving and a lighter fuselage.

Got some more work done on the P51 PSS slope Racer / power plane. Molds came out really nice! Think I'm going to build the power versions first.

This is my first time to a slope called 3 tower in RPV overlooking the Trump golf course. Beautiful spot and views.
