I have documented some of the work that I have done to the B 400. Pardon the misspellings, etc. It's hard to edit your blog because you can't see it untill after it's posted. One of the things that got left out of the comments on the photos is that I discovered that six turns on the lower swash plate linkages equals a 10 degree change in pitch. According to the Blade 400 manual, you need to check for zero pitch in throttle hold with collective stick centered. I was showing 5 degrees positive pitch. I took the rotor head off and lengthened the lower swash plate linkages by 6 turns. Then I got a reading of 5 degrees negative pitch. I then shortened the linkages by 3 turns and came out at zero pitch. I hope that takes the guess work out of the equation for someone else....Continue Reading
