I received this helicopter from banggood.com and would like to thank them for giving me the opportunity to give a fair and unbiased review. I hope it will give insight and help others interested in this heli to make a determination in whether this helicopter is the right choice for them. I really am enjoying this heli! I have put nearly 40 flights on it now and haven’t had one single issue with it after even a few nice crashes into the wall and ground. I just can’t get over how robust this helicopter is. In the past I have been used to finding bent linkages, or them even popping off and having the balls on the swash break off or something on the head getting out of whack. Everything is just so robust on this helicopter that it gives me confidence in flying it, since I don’t feel a worry about parts breaking on me. The blades themselves are also of a thicker build then I’m used to so they also have seen abuse and are still in great visual/flying shape.
The smoothness has been a very welcomed experience in it’s flight characteristics. The gyro does it’s job extremely well and moving in all directions without any unusual characteristics. I really am enjoying this heli! I have put nearly 40 flights on it now and haven’t had one single issue with it after even a few nice crashes into the wall and ground. Today I wanted to take time to review an RC Logger product that I feel was worthy of sharing with others as it is a fantastic product that is very useful in the hobby world. A direct link to the product can be found by clicking here. The RC Logger company calls it an LED Magnifying Lamp with Third Hand. I added the words Soldering Station on to it. All in all putting it together is a mouthful but I guess there's really not a way to simplify what to call it since it is many separate products collaborated into one very handy tool.

Essentially what I've learned in this hobby and also for the most part in life is it usually pays to invest a little extra money in a quality product rather than just always buying the cheap stuff. In the end not only will it usually work better but will last a long time.

You say but it's not a plane, quad etc. That may be the case, but anyone serious about this hobby understands the importance of having the right tools for the job. Got the u816a by UDIR/C in just a few days ago. This is what I would consider to be my first toy grade quadcopter and I have to be honest I am fairly impressed with how well it flies!

Hey guys a few weeks ago I got in the Rakon Heli mQX kit and finally got the time to put it together and take some pics along the way.
First off the price is the same as a new mQX, however it has to be remembered that the kit can't be purchased in bits and pieces. Unlike the helicopter parts like for the mcpx, msr x etc. It's not really set up with a pick and choose type manner, so for the most part you are purchasing a full kit due to having to have 4 matching set ups for each arm. This kit is for someone that really loves their mQX and is wanting to stand out from the crowd and all of the cheap toyish looking clones that have popped up lately
I will say for the most part everything about this kit is positive. It's extremely well thought out and very well built. All of the carbon fiber and delrin plastic really take the looks of the mqx out of the toy realm and into the hobby grade realm. Not saying it changes the way it flies (actually does feel a little more responsive), but just meaning I've showed it to a few hobby friends and they've oohed and aahed over it, which never happened with all the stock plastic.
Anyway, I will get into more details towards the end, but for now here are some pics with a little more detail.
I got the red/silver kit which is really awesome because I like the duo colored arms for orientation. But just being honest I think it looks cooler than just one solid color.

So Rakonheli (RKH) has been releasing a slew of new products lately and I really wanted to get my hands on some for reviewing. I came home from vacation last Friday and there was a package waiting for me from Rakonheli filled with some wonderful goodies for my blade mSR:
The items I received for review are:
-mSR red aluminum main rotor hub
-mSR red aluminum blade grips
-mSR red aluminum Anti-Rotation Collar
-mSR/mCP X red aluminum tail motor mount
-mSR/mCP X carbon fiber Vertical tail fin
Also soon to be released (within the next month) is a aluminum chassis, swashplate and flybar for the mSR. So there is definitely some exciting stuff being released.
They also sell many more parts for the mCP X, 120sr as well as upgrades for the align t-rex models. Go on over and check out there stuff at rakonheli.com.
Before we get too far into this review let me state this: THESE PARTS ARE LIGHTER THAN THE STOCK PARTS! Many will probably blow these off thinking they will add weight to your helicopter which we all try and stay away from. But that is not true with these upgrades. They are extremely well engineered and come out weighing less than the stock plastic parts. That is why I consider these parts true upgrades and not just "bling" parts.
These products come in silver aluminum or red anodized aluminum. I went with the red since I have a red canopy, plus really like the look of the red since it separates it from any other company offering aluminum...Continue Reading
