If you are a fan of Precision Aerobatics planes then look away now, this repair job may be too cringey for you to watch

A few months ago someone dropped a piano on my favorite plane (Precision Aerobatics Extra 260).

It was sitting in the back room under a sheet at my parents house to shield it from dust, because that's how much I love it. Unfortunately, someone needed to store an electric piano and put it on top of my plane. The horizontal stab snapped and the right wing was damaged too.

A few months ago I was flying really crazy at a very low altitude, I ended up putting the extra in nose/bottom first. The engine pod broke off and the tail snapped off.

I bought this plane second hand for $250 which I still think was an absolute bargain! It was setup really well by the original owner. This was my first 3D plane and damn does it fly nice!

I ended up buying another Extra 260, this time a precision aerobatics model. It's smaller and WAY lighter than this one, and it's much more agile etc.. basically I was trying to fly this hyperion the same way I did the smaller PA extra, and so I crashed. Basically stalled low level into the ground. I probably could have avoided it if I went full throttle a second earlier..

Here's a pic before I wrecked it:

Crunch!
That was a bad feeling, but I can only imagine it would have been a lot worse if it was not already a cheap second hand plane
