Been playing around with quads and tri-copters for awhile.
Started with the wii shield and found it no so user friendly.once setup it worked fine,I just prefer not to make anything other then flying my hobby.

My mini is a Bambucopter ( purchased this as a complete package deal offered by another RCG memeber in the for sale forums. I had a Hobby king v1 KK board with + mode (factory software) and used it. The Hobby king 5x3 props are almost unusable so a bought GWS 5x3x3's which were 100% easier to balance.

Lift off is about 60% throttle and only minor throttle changes make a big difference. I am using the nanotech 850's 2s packs that came with the package deal.they work great and even nicer can be charged up to 5c.The leds are strip type purchased from
with a mod for 2s use.I removed one led and added a jumper in its place.They are just as bright as 3s.

Con's :
use quality props
ditch the stock 1811 prop saver mounts.I replaced with;
Hobbyking v1 board :not really a con with the new KK software but managed almost hands off hovering as is.

My x525 is assembled but waiting on my gear to finish.It is the same as the Hobby King and goodluck buy. As mentioned in the forums the quality of the booms are so so.The holes do not align at all. This platform may have limited purpose for the weekend flier but without question will be a viable AP/FPV wing. Its very accommodating design will allow a wide variety of power systems .Fitting your gear in this wing is not an issue.

Hello again. Took a break to start working on the NewBreedRC line.

All of these are currently still in development but weather and time permitting will be released soon.

First up is something that's been on the back burner to long. It's the Q250 and will be possibly offered in two versions. One is a Q250C (combat) and the other Q250P Pylon as well as the materials to be built with a conventional tail group or a V-tail.The difference is the main wing design and airfoil selection.

The second is the EVO airfoil that will be used on all of the flying wings under the NewbreedRC name. It is the evolution of our product development in the flying wing arena. I have no pictures available as we are keeping things under warps until It is ready to release.

The third is the 36in delta which is the brain child of gotboostedvr6. It sports an 18in root. The rest of the details will follow as it will be in transit to him shortly.The other delta pictured is the TLAR 32in. which id Lmopar69's brainchild but bashed into a mid mount. It is being tested for this type of build and is part of the existing Ohio Combat product line.

The forth is our slowfly Evo series and the one pictured has a 28in span. The wing area is about 1.5sqft. and will fly without winglet's as tested. Our current auw is 8oz or about 5oz per sqft. The elevon's are part of the airfoil and cut during the CNC process so no hinging needed. As tested the battery placement using the motor pictured is almost dead center of the airfoil. Lighter batteries and equipment will easily balance this wing as well as support a wide variety of larger equipment but may sacrifice a little of it's slower flight envelope.

The fifth project is the 32in guillotine pre laminated and trimmed with a color scheme. These can be assembled in very short order. The Prop cutout and equipment areas are left blank unless requested.

I will be updating on a regular basis to help visitors find RCG based info on our products. The Ohio Combat product line is still intact and will remain so. The NewbreedRC is the next step in evolution as well as the sum of all my work over the years in CAD design and airfoil development.

I started OHC back in 2002 with the 22in Slingblade followed shortly there after with the 32in Guillotine.
Both were my original concept of designing small stable platforms with key design elements that could be scaled with minor modifications to achieve similar performance. As a result there is very little flight characteristic differences from the 22in to 52in.

With each progression of design I developed glassing techniques using various materials to provide addition crash resistance as well as higher performance capabilities. As will all processes there is an easier and quicker way. This is where I spend a lot of time and where you will benefit. As the techniques were developed they were initially time consuming and an easy way to keep people from attempting a build. As such I have simplified the process enough to ensure similar results and 1/3 the time without complicating it at the same time. None of these are knock offs of others work as To my knowledge I am the only one who keeps this open source free for anyone to use and continue to develop on their own.The reason is that no one person holds all the answers or perfect application for each individual build.

After 9 months of waiting I am the proud father of a little baby boy.
Mon Jan 12-09 Cameron was born. He's doing very well and with a little time we'll see if we can get a transmitter in those little hands

My wife Arianne is also doing very well although she did say this is the last one She did really well and I'm very proud of her and the hard work she did to bring Cameron into our family. I now have two loves in my life and very thankful for ever minute even the AM feedings

The Horus FPV platform can ether be 52in with the 4in. center section or 54in. with the 6in center section. The purpose of using this center section is to allow equipment (batteries/esc osd etc.) to be centralized and sill have separation. The center section is 3in thick and tapers down to 1.75 at the trailing edge. This allows for batteries to be stacked or on edge rather then placed along each wings leading edge as with other designs. The battery bay pictured is 5.57 long and 2in deep and 1.75 wide. I placed it 3in back from the nose and will balance the 8oz motor/prop with 9oz. Once covered /elevon's esc it will take about 12oz. Will be updating as much as possible.

Purchased this little truck for my nephew. Was not sure until I got a good look at it ,I noticed there are a lot of similar parts to the Losi Mini-T. They share the same chassis as well as most of the suspension ,driver train components. Side by side will show minor differences.

We played around with the included 4 cell AA battery holder and included alkaline cells. Bearing in mind this is a beginner setup its was maybe 10mph. It does have steering throw adjustment on the transmitter as well as a digital servo.The run time was maybe 6 to 8 min.

I ran out to walmart and looked over the rechargeable cells and found one that stated it could be charged in 15 to 30 min. They are energizer 2300mah cells.I purchased 12 cells and soldered up 2 saddle packs just like the upgrade packs available. The difference from 4 cells to 6 cell is huge not to mention 20+ min. driving at near WOT.I did a few sample charges one at 1c and the other at 2c. The batteries were about 115F at 2c charge rate(4.6A).
I changed it to 4A and takes about 25min from drained.

All in all he is pleased with the new truck and we even added some headlights made from stip leds. I will be buying another one and possibly looking into a brushless setup.
