Let be clear, this blog post is in NO WAY to put down any product and especially any from TOWER but, it needs to be communicated that two (2) buddies and co-workers who own this camera has crashed their shinny new TOWER foam models (Corsair and Hellcat) as a result from this camera.

Please note for those that don't realize that this camera operates on the same frequency band as most people's command & control 2.4Giga Hertz band on most Spectrum! I have two (2) buddies that crashed their models because there is no way to turn OFF the camera's transmission! http://www.towerhobbies.com/products.../tacz1000.html

Not only the above....but, look at this!
NOTE: The FPV feed is for the purposes of displaying what the camera is recording to improve the quality and accuracy of videos and pictures with respect to the operator’s intended fi eld of view. We do not recommend attempting to operate a R/C vehicle using just the FPV feed. Delays in the FPV feed can cause the image shown in the app to not represent the exact current position of the vehicle. Any interruption of the FPV feed will not be present in the video fi les saved to the memory card:

You can hear and see the Throttle cutting On/Off and after Roof Crash, you can see the model to the Right of the screen!

CORSAIR CAM (3 min 18 sec)

Tower Customer Service blamed my buddy and instead of fessing up! Just by advertising as a WiFi camera is not enough and instead indicate it is a 2.4G device! My Buddy got a reduced purchase for another foam Corsair instead of just Tower sending him and his brother another model.
