Taking a building break .Doing a little house cleaning.Been working o n the Siebel 201 since feb 20th.Making great progress.Build thread at Balsa Buliders column.Cleaning workshop so I can finish tail boom for siebel.

Went north (maine ,Sinclair )for snowmobiling fun.But two and half good days.Then rain created ice everywhere and washed most of the snow away.Looking to get back in the groove.Maybe early spring??

Bought this plane just as a airframe.Kept kicking it around the shop.Finally decided to get this converted to electric power.motor is a himax HC5030-390.Battery is a 6s 5000.All up weight is just under 7lbs. 61/2 pounds static thrust with 1225 watts.Plane should go straight up.Will see.Repairing elevator hinging.Looked a little sketchy.

Sorry,I haven't posted in a bit.Started tonight to really organize my work area.Starting with putting all the same brands of motors togther.First was all astro flight.Next will be all other cobalt.Then brushless.

Well was able to get back to the rc field after a 11month hiatus.2 flights and back in the grove.But wet field makes for messy plane to clean.

Well been finishing up my Fw 190a that had a mishap at the 2012NEAT Fest.Took about a year to find another kit for the wing. (Lions model arf).Next will try to put "half built projects in line" to see wich will worked/finished next.But also need to take time to start flying again.Haven't flown in about a year.Weather looking decent and hope my batteries are still flight worthy.Stay tuned.

I'm not sure when I started the Nick Ziroli , Bv 141 but it has been a while. Could be 10+ yrs?? Jalopoplane by Eddie Ashimine . 7yrs and counting. Covering is progressing on the jalopoplane.I'll post pictures of progress here.Stay tuned.

Been working on this plane for a friend.Actully he is our rc club president.Tom has limited building skills but makes it up in flying and just a great person and friend.I help him when he wants help.Here is a Giant quaker that was converted to e-power.He didn't want the Maxcium motor/esc so I swapped it out and gave him something simpler to understand.Posting pictures on how I set up the battery instale and removel.Should be testing this week.Enjoy,

Rebuilding part is done.Now just applying the covering.Post pic's later.

Had problems with water in the cellar lst year.So now I'm getting back to cleaning things up and throwing stuff out.Who wants something????

Well after two years I finally scored a wing for my Lions Focke Wulf Fw190a.I had a little crack up at the neat fair in 2011.The wing and cowl was the major damage.Finally after watching the for sale section a guy had one he was willing to sell.So the Fw will fly again.

Last year was a major turmoil.Nothing r/c after april2013.So tommorro will be our clubs FROZEN FINGER FUN FLY.I'll try to get back in the saddle again.
