FMA has been busy improving what has to be one of their most popular products ever, the CellPro 4S. It was that little charger that first introduced me to FMA and now all of my lithium batteries get their charge from FMA products.

The new Multi4 Charger is described by FMA as featuring "everything you asked for". Well, it looks as if the people have been asking for a LOT, because the list of features is impressive indeed:

- Supports ALL of the following battery chemistries: LiPoly, LiIon, LiFePO4, A123, LiMn, NiCd, NiMH, Pb

- Supports 2-way P.C. Interface, and thus Firmware upgrades and integration with FMA's Charge Control Software

- 25 user programmable presets, editable on the charger or your PC

- Charger displays can be altered to meet each user's needs. Rearrange the order in which screens display, or remove screens from the display list. Using the CCS, configure each Preset to display the info the way you want it to appear.

- Open Architecture Presets provide access to over 70 different preset parameters

- A123: non-balanced charge mode available (up to full output voltage of the charger)

- Non-balanced charge of 2s LiPo for small park flyer batteries

And the list literally goes on and on! My original FMA 4S is nervously watching this new charger stablemate!

I will be exercising this impressive little charger in the weeks to come. Watch for the full RCGroups/Ezone review to come ...

Hello.

Here are a couple of photos of my two new model wich I got here for X-mas from Santa (it is actually my wife,I love her very much ) The P-51 is a Top Flite ARF,I will make it in a Crazy Horse 2 version so it will get a new covering,a new ZDZ 50 NG engine and a Robart retracts.
The P-38 is from Yellow Aircraft I bought it from one of my fellow modelers here in Denmark it is 3-4 years old but it is very well made so it just needs to get a good inspection,a new receiver and battery all the servoes are installed they are from Futaba and JR. I will mount two ZDZ 40 gas engines instead of the two OS-BGX it has at the moment. It has the original Yellow retracs and a UP-3 valve for gear/door control.

Best Regards Henrik hammer

Merry X-mas and a Happy Newyear to everyone....Continue Reading

Well, my independent wing assembly went 100% to the good for my newly assembled TaylorCraft 450. Everything fit like a glove, albeit I haven't maidened the bird because of 6" of snow. Having previously had this bird before, there's just no doubt in my mind the assembly will work.

Well the year started off shaky, but ended in a up note. I got the first Christmas bonus ever. The kids have had a lot of fun. There were some set backs. We were all ready to go to the first mid flight show, but while the bus\Van was warming up a belt broke. Yet we did get some shopping done.

The Man in the picture of the boys from scouts Killed himself. May God rest his sole! He was one of the main weather guys.

These are the models I owned since 2004 when I started this Hobby.

Mini Daisy 3 - a small motor glider. As I was just a beginner, the time flight was never limited by the battery life, but by my (not existing) flying skills. Died within 6 month. FUBAR...

The Sniper from QRP. A mid wing motor glider with ailerons. The plane (and I) suffered a lot until I learned to use the ailerons correctly. Finally crashed when trying aerobatics a little to much...

Hyperion Extra 300L 10e. Nice model, for me at that time by far to difficult to fly. First model died within two weks after a stall while landing. Later I bought a second one which still flies today.

In the meanwhile I had the Ultrafly Extra 300. Good as a trainer for some aerobatics. Retired.

Hyperion P-51D MUSTANG "25e", in Lou IV Blue/Silver Scheme. A beautiful scale model. I flew this one for a long time and it was my first model that returned from the first flight without any scratch. Taxiing on long grass fields is difficult but it really flies nicely and is very fast. Retired.

Hyperion Yak55 10e. Good looking model, easy to fly! Capable of real aerobatics. Retired.

Hyperion Super Chipmunk 70e. My favorite so far. I fly it every weekend if we have good weather. It is easy to handle on the ground and in the air, very stable and fast. Capable of nice aerobatics. Original Hyperion Motor setup seems perfect for it. I love it!

Hyperion Piper Cub 25e. For this one I reuse the motor, speed...Continue Reading

OKay this one is a little overdue folks.

On saturday, I woke up very late and I didnt really do a lot untill it was time to leave to go to twickers .

last EVER twickers it was a real shame to have to say goodbye, but it was damned fun.

I got there very early with both my parents, and then insisted I fly something to show them. they wanted to see the hornet go, but the tail was giving me issues, and the mesh needed adjusting, so I had to demo my 52# instead.

My father was impressed that i could fly it, and my mother was perplexed by the fact that it could fly sideways (and backwards).

Just as they were leaving, a guy was doing some hard 3d with his new t-rex 250, but hit the tail on the floor, snapped the tail blades and bent the boom, it piro-ed out of it, and he managed to save it from major damage by a well timed autorotation, unfortunately, he hit a little hard, snapped the landing skid struts and had a tip-over, which bent the flybar.

I talked to the pilot who was flying the 250, and fixed my hornet at the same time, took it for a test flight, and it was pretty good, the tail still kicks out a little with punchouts, but i dont like doing that, so it is all good. (even in winds the tail remains solid, no weather-vaining). the new tail servo is holding great, and the modified pitch slider removes a lot of slop in the vp tail mechanics.

Michael showed up shortly after, and I landed (scraped the tail a little) to say hi. He had his new mini-titan with...Continue Reading

ok i shall upload pics soon, for now i am having problems with my mechanics fitting proper. my mechanics are the century hawk sport 30 size. without the tailboom installed it fits awesome. with the tailboom installed it raises the front of the mechanics about 1/4 inch off the mount plate, wich in urn makes the center servo hit the top windows.... any ideas as to what i should do here? greatly appreciated.

Coming along nicely now; hope to be able to fly this one indoors or out.

Of course I'm just putting off the repair job on the Triplane really...

The Organization Team (Dick, Derk and Bert van der Vecht and Jeroen van Gog) invited top Indoor Pilots from all over Europe and some travelled more than 1500 miles (one way!) to join this fantastic event. Synchronous Flying, Air Race, F3P-A Pattern and Freestyle, Night flying to live music ... it was fantastic, a real pre X-Mas treat.

After all that hustling between commutes, it was another rain out. Your government has us rained out until next week. Replaced the 12 guage wire with 14 guage to try to get more margin. A tiny change in weight, but all the local guy had.

Meanwhile, piano key sensors didn't go so well. Got good data & a plan for compressing it. Put the test article on the floor to eat, then the sensor stopped working. The sensor is freakishly sensitive to alignment.

Calif* is getting flooded by Oaklahoma, Georgia, & Texas refugees. 4 those of U moving or already in Calif*, basically all of U, U need to file your income tax as soon as possible. Calif* is going to run out of money & start paying I.O.U.'s.

Income tax is going up $2500, but it won't keep Calif* from running out of money. U need to have that extra $2500 ready to pay higher income tax of course.

Here is a lamp I did (airport theme). It has LEDs on the runway, helipad, and control tower. The lamp is either on or off, and there is a master switch on and off (so either the LEDs are on or off, and the LEDs have to be on to have lamp on.... )
