I previously had this Hacker Mamo vpp set up on a epp plane. Switched over to a depron airframe with the desired results. Here's a vid to show:
CLIFF (3 min 47 sec)

The motor is a Hacker A20-34S with a 12 amp esc and 3s 370-500 lipo (on the 8" prop). Servos are Hitec digital, HS 5045HB, all around. I normally would use lighter servos for the tail, but these were intended for a epp plane originally. Max auw for this motor set up is roughly 7oz. Anything more and it won't be able to back up when nose down.

So I'm now trying to dial in the pitch and throttle on the Hacker vpp unit, but its on a WM ParkFlyers 32" MX2 now! I had to use a bigger esc and lipo to get what I got so far. I'm trying variations ot high and low rpm and pitch to achieve the max thrust possible during negative pitch up lines.

No slop with the direct link to servo, but better lipo placement for cg with pitch servo mounted back. Learned not to brace on the same side that I mount the lipo just in case I need to place the lipo further back too. Also learned to place tail servos back too.
