I picked up an E-flite 70mm F-16 from a friend that had a few pebbles take out the fan. Gave it the twin tractor swap, and it's now a whole new "jet" experience

What do you do when you come across a giant 3D printed Lego man online? Build an equally giant plane for him to sit in.

A-10 + Nerf Blaster = AWESOME (4 min 8 sec)

My latest build combines two hobbies, R/C planes and Nerf. I've incorporated a stripped down Nerf Rival Zeus blaster into the nose of an old FreeWing A-10. The blaster is controlled from the same transmitter used to fly the plane, and allows me to launch 12 safe/soft foam balls in less than half a second. The balls come out so fast it even sounds like the real thing, I encourage you to turn the volume up on the ground based shots. I've played around with various tabs in the barrel to adjust the amount of spin on the balls and provide a nice flat, or slightly down trajectory. The balls are so light that if I'm flying too fast, I can overtake the salvo I just launched, which you can see in some of the on-board shots. As with other Nerf Zeus mods, it will also launch Nerf Mega Darts (last pass in the video). They seem to handle the airspeed of the aircraft better, but you can only fit three in at a time. Strafing runs were remarkably effective on some cardboard T-72 tanks, and putting on a pair of goggles to get the first person view is amazing. Also, yes, I picked up all the balls on the field and somehow managed to not lose any .

While I believe this modification to be compliant with the AMA Safety Code, as I am not using pyrotechnics, or jettisoning anything that could harm people or property (Nerf blasters are after-all meant for children to play with, and comply with toy safety rules,) please exercise caution and responsibility if you're attempting to build a similar creation. Never fly at/over people, and resist the temptation to launch balls at anything organic Enjoy your brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrt responsibly!

Here is some footage shot in Woodside CA, with two bikes. More footage to follow!

Been working on this concept off and off after seeing somebody convert a Guanli Harrier frame into a quad. It's the same concept as other multirotor hybrids.

I got two of the airframes from hobbyking(https://www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/s...80mm_ARF_.html)
I'm using this one as a test bed to get the controller tuned, then I will build up the second airframe with a glassed wings, weapons stations to hide the motors, and retracts.

Running Arducopter for the quad half, then straight pass through of the airplane controls. Right now I just have rudder, elevator, and throttle control in plane mode, and it grooves pretty well with the quad near idle.
