Wow, its been a while since we've posted here. Quick post about a great new product coming up from Furious FPV that will bring affordability to one of the most important components we rely on when flying fpv.

A new standard was set when Immersion released the Rapidfire with same or even slightly better performance than its much higher priced competitor. Now a new standard is about to be set at an even more affordable price point with the upcoming release of the Furious FPV True-D X Rx module. At just $119.99usd 😱, you no longer need to sell your first newborn child or work weeks of overtime to afford the best fpv experience possible. Tons of features that even the most expensive goggle module doesn't have and at a fraction of the price. A couple of the awesome features it has are, laptimer and quad finder modes. Practise racing anytime you need to with the lap timer feature. Quad finder allows you to locate your quad if its lost in the bushes or somewhere hard to see as long as your vtx is still transmitting a signal. Update fw and customise logos with your cell phone via phone app. Its a no brainer what rx modules everyone will be using this year. You can pre-order your True-D X here at Rotorquest or one of our authorised resellers https://www.rotorquest.com/furious-f...h=true%20d%20x

*** For those who are hesitant with Furious FPV products, we can understand your worries. I will say this, the new true-d x is identical to the clearview and rapidfire modules in terms of hardware and the algorithm for image recreation. These first 2 companies have paved the way for other manufacturers to get on board with the new technology without having to make the same mistakes. If there's one product that Furious has always had a good grasp on, its rx modules and this new product will surely become their new flagship item.

The warm weather looks like its here to stay finally! We got a ton of new goodies just in time for the sunshine so heres the first of the new goods.

One that we're really excited about is the new Furious FPV True-D Dock-King (limited qty only). This turns your True-D diversity module into a standalone groundstation to hit those epic mountain peaks for 5.8g long range flying where antenna orientation matters and means the difference between bringing your quad back or hiking 5km to get it back. Even for racers, to ensure best video you want your antennas oriented in a set position. New laptiming feature, improved dvr and picture quality, dual av outputs so you can have monitors/tv's hooked up to show other people your video feed while flying that epic ocean or mountain flight. So much WOW with this bad boy, check out Rotorquest.com for this and other great products:.

The much anticipated V2 commander has arrived! This is truly an impressive goggle. 16:9 to 4:3 switching, 45 degree fov for 4:3 and 41.6 degree fov for 16:9. For those of you using 16:9 dominator v3's you'll appreciate the massive fov. The svga displays rival that of the oled HDO goggles (coming soon) and you get the new diversity rx built in and all the other beloved features of the original commanders. After trying both goggles out this past weekend, its going to be a tough call for those in the market for new goggles. Finally we are seeing high quality displays being used that can show even the tiniest of scraggle which used to interfere with our freestyle fun. No longer will the hidden ninjas take us out now that the next gen of goggles is here!

Aomway Commander V2:
https://www.rotorquest.com/index.php...duct_id=111639

I will be posting a review for the new commanders shortly that will include a side by side of the 2 displays so everyone can see how good these new goggles perform especially with the new breed of fpv cams like the predator and eagle cameras. I've included a diagram that shows the difference in the fov so you get somewhat of an idea of the size difference now. Thanks for reading, happy flying!

Wow, so much new stuff came in and we have a ton of other new items on the way!

Fatshark announced the new HDO goggle which has been in the works for some time now. With much speculation about what type of upgrade the HD lineup would see, the news of the new oled optics should make for a very nice image with the new goggles.
Foxeer Monster Micro and Arrow Pro Micro cams have arrived along with the Lollipop antennas. Camera tech sure has come a long way and now we're seeing high tvl fpv cams with beautiful image quality without sacrificing too much latency. The predator was a sign of things to come and Foxeer didn't let us down with the newest camera options. The lollipop antenna has sparked alot of debate about design origins but the performance is hard to deny. Whether or not True Rc patent pending on the ax-ii will hold up or not, only time will tell but the market is happy to see an affordably priced antenna with amazing performance. Personally I still love my ax-ii antennas and will continue to be my go to but I'm definitely going to give these lollipops a try.
The hype of the X-lite radio from FrSky is about to be put to the test with its official release being announced last week and retail price finally being set this morning at $119usd. Dealers are expected to receive them in the next couple weeks so pilots will get to decide once and for all whether this gaming style of controller is here to stay or not.
6s setups are proving there worth in the fpv racing...Continue Reading

We've been waiting for these radios to hit the market for awhile now. We finally got our hands on them and are excited to try them out and see what our customers think. Early prototypes showed some flaws but frsky was quick to rework them for the production launch. It took many months of tweaking but finally they have released them and they look great! The upgrade switches and pots feel really nice and when holding the radio in your hands, it has a very comfortable and natural feel for placement of components. If your looking for a new radio with lots of high end features at a very reasonable price, check out the new Frsky Horus X10!

I'm really excited for this new product, the Hobbywing Xrotor F4 flight controller and 40a 4in1 esc combo. Hobbywing is the benchmark and industry standard when it comes to speed controller performance and durability. If you look at any serious mini quad motor thrust test results, you will always see the xrotor esc pumping out the best numbers. In the past they were too big to use on mini quads but now they've got their products lined up with current fpv standards.
Even though you may never need 40a capability, it doesn't hurt to have it. From my experience, the bigger the fets and higher amp draw capability usually results in faster responses and better performance as well as durability. In the past I used to run small esc's for the weight savings aspect but with frames and motors getting lighter and lighter, we can run bigger batteries and gear and still have the optimal performance we're all after.

Now with Hobbywings entry into the flight controller market, they made a good decision to go with the F4. Dshot 150/300/600/1200 capable, as well as Multishot/Oneshot42/Oneshot125 and PWM protocols supported. F4 is becoming the new standard now and the coding for the firmwares is beginning to peak at F3 limits so HW is on track with this newest entry into the fc market. Betaflight osd, sd card slot, pin bank to stack directly with the 40a 4in1 esc and Xrotor quality makes this combo a top offering in todays market.

Hobbywing has always been known as a top performer in other RC fields and now they have put down a serious contender in the fpv market. I am looking forward to trying this out and any of there future offerings for fpv!
