  • Corona R/C Club is hosting its annual Halloween Float Fly at Lake Perris State Recreation Area from 8 am till 2 pm. Nice beach area whicj allows set-up close to the water.

  • Good afternoon ladies and gentlemen,

    I'd like to invite you to come join us in Memphis the weekend of October 28th for the Memphis Propbusters annual Porter Leath Charity Fly In. This is our version of Toys for Tots, so 100% of the proceeds go to benefit the kids served by Porter Leath Children's Charities. It's deeply important to us to help give back to the community, and ensuring these kids have a toy to wake up to on Christmas morning is our chosen way to do that. Last year we raised just over $3000 and boxes of toys for these kids, and I'm proud to say that every kid woke up to a present on Christmas morning. That's something many of these kids had never experienced before. So please come help us beat last year's record and enjoy some incredible fun at a beautiful field!

    Last year we had a jam session by the bonfire while others flew at night. This year, we have a full on live band! The fire pit has been moved to accommodate more trailers too.

    - The landing fee for the event is $20 or a toy of equal or greater value
    - Dinner on Saturday is included and is provided by the world famous Corky's BBQ
    - Live music and a bonfire on Saturday night
    - The raffle will be held Saturday afternoon and includes numerous airplanes, such as the Extreme Flight 74" Laser EXP!

    Sponsors: Extreme Flight RC, Venom RC, RTL Fasteners, Horizon Hobby, Heads Up RC, Corky's BBQ, Chic-Fil-A, Huey's, Germantown Commissary, Jim's Place Grill, Range USA, and others!

    Camping is allowed, we have electricity and water on site, although there are no RV hook ups. Come as early as Thursday and stay as late as you like! All flying types are welcome and encouraged.
