Looking up at the rotors doing their work is becoming one of my favorite views. It feels more like flying inside a real heli.
Looking down over creek

Dipole antenna is cut out of the end of a coaxial cable. Antenna at the back position gives better transmission and reduces interference with the heli's electronics.

Pan/tilt camera positioned at back of heli so I can get better orientation during flight using the heli skids and body.
Closeup of the Fusano F1 canopy. I like the robotic "drone" look this Fusano canopy gives.
Holes in wing reinforced with 5/16" aluminum tubing CA glued into place. The tubing should really help reduce deterioration of the soft foam after repeated mountings of the wing during transport.

Wings bolted in place. The plastic load spreaders will be CA'd into place. Later I swapped out these orange ones with transparent ones.
Nylon 1/4" wing bolts using plastic reinforcements
Shows the wall anchors embedded into the foam before wood placed on top
Balsa wood blind nuts to accept wing bolts. Screws with anchors in the foam for extra strength. Later cleaned itup so the wood is more or less flush with the Skywalker frame.
My ExceedRC Genesis outfitted with 900MHz transmitter, Sony Petite NTSC camera, EagleTree OSD PRO. Video transmitter is on the tail using a dipole antenna made from coaxial cable and sheath from a rubberduck antenna.
