Flew pretty darn well considering!
Canopy with my glued-in paperclip. Threw my Zippy 1500 and 1450 shown in contrast with the stocker 1300 batt for good measure.
F4 resting on the foam "skids" and the control horn inboard of it.
Another angle on the aileron control horn showing better clearance with it cut.
The 4 magnets hold pretty tight and I know the foam will take a beating over time with prying off the canopy, so I straightened and cut a paperclip to length to provide a grip.
Showing how I Dremmeled off the lower parts of the aileron control horns to help keep them from dragging grass/junk on landings.
Nice F4 intake plates...and see how much of the AMX shows behind the F4! I slathered the foam buldges on the F4 in epoxy to harden things up since they take the majority of landing abuse. I also chopped the ends off the aileron control horns (I use the
The AMX is a full INCH wider thru the shoulder (intake to intake) and you can see it sits higher too...hence more dreaded DRAG.

Upgraded ESC!!!!! Box/HL site still says 25A. Don't be fooled! Kudos to J-Power!
A pilot figure is included!!!! also, notice the MYSTERY BUMPS I've laid on the stab in the background...now one is BLUE(??), with still no direction or clue as to their purpose.
MUCH easier to apply decals before glueing things together!!!
Not done yet, but this is starting to look sweet...
The decal pages are not labeled, but after close inspection of the tiger on page 8 of this thread, things were easy to figure out... I used the decal page as a template to ensure I got things pretty close on lineup...
The wire slides snuggly into the pocket. I'm going to use toothpicks to better secure the mount later. The alternating sawtooth pockets look like it'll be a strong joint. Think I'm gonna sand some of that paint off first...

For shipping, the nozzle was adhered with double-sided tape. Make sure you get it all off!
