Looks cute and robust + it is regular 3s1 powered and I can bet it can easily be converted to use separates if needed!

OK - so next would be CP with the same design. I am so keen to see that happen!

Take a closer look - this bird has the rotorhead from a Corona and is the official sucessor.
On a German Website there are more detailed fotos and the explanation, that Multiplex has bought the patents, machinery etc. from Lite Machines.

Noe we have a nearly-non-destructable rotorhead AND the same canopy, looking a bit scale at an awesome price compared to the Corona.
I love it !!!!

pretty smart of them to wrap all the mechanics and boom in their foam. Boom strikes shouldn't be a problem any more.

talking boom strikes : they made the main shaft a bit longer, so the blades do have a longer way to the boom.

sorry, no - I'm not shure, I have read this in a German forum.

The price according to the manufacterer will be
Euro 220,- incl. motor
Euro 360,- incl. motor and all electronics, sevo etc. Only battery needed

I think, that's a really fair price in relation to the former policy from Lite Machines

I am excited about this. I have been flying a highly modified Corona ( Matt Shumaker thanks!) for a few years. I love the direct drive idea. It looks like the tail rotor is still a wire drive? I would suspect that I could modify to my belt drive. Matt, if you are there, any thoughts??? I will be in Germany for about 4 months later this year, so will see if it is locally available!!

I am open to sending out parts for people to try on this heli. I am still around. Believe it or not, I still get orders and I still manufacture 90% or my original line.

It's going. Not much new out of my little workshop lately. I might finally be able to acquire some actual machine tools later this year as some steep financial obligations get paid off I might pick your brain on that subject some more when that time comes.

I kinda got the funk lately. I wonder if that's because it's somehow wrong to be in shorts and a t-shirt in February. Weather is super nice out and I feel too much like crap to spin up the rotary wings
