If you like RF module flexibility, sounds like the current Aurora 9 is the one to get.

If you want the latest, greatest, sounds like the new product will be the way to go.

I left the battery out for a couple of hours, then I recharged overnight. I just tried to perform the 1.09 update once again. This time I watched closely. The transfer progress bar reached 44% and then went back to 0%. The transfer status line flashes every couple of seconds. It might be displaying another status for just the briefest instant, but I'm not sure. It's nothing I can read.

Once the transfer status goes back to 0%, nothing else happens. I'll try again one more time this evening. Clearly it's working to some extent. All the lights are flashing rapidly as data is transferred, but then it stops before completion.

When you start getting into the hundreds of transmitters, then you can start to think about becoming concerned. At the International RC Helicopter Event, at AMA HQ, they have close to 1000 pilots with no frequency control.

I had seen a review vid on the HiTec RF system,that was the old scan mode and it did a much better job in scan of avoiding traffic and selecting channels that were in the unused part of the band opposed to normal mode,the vid was done by that NZ review guy that talks really fast lol,that's what made me ask the question, i have no idea what the new scan mode is doing.Where did HiTec get the idea that this new scan was easier if you have to go through this long involved process every time you turn on the Tx,previously i read the manual set it to scan and it was done.

Method is used to clear any residual power which may have been left in capacitors or other electronics and
without which could continue problem.

I surely hope Hitec will make the update to the A9 a significant one. If they do not, my fear is they will fall further behind into those manufacturers of history rather than making history as they did with the A9. So please, make the leap. Show Futaba and Spektrum the innovation that does exist within Hitec/Multiplex.
