Allen- If you haven't found someone with a spare cowl, I can give you one this Saturday. Just take care of it ok? I want it back in one pretty piece after the show

Allen,
You can try using the bottom of a small best foods mayonaise jar for a cowl-I did it for my GWS AT-6 and it works great-alot tougher too

Allen, I will be at the field at 7am giving flying lessons if interested.

I built my plane stock and have flown with the stock pack as far back as only in the foam 1". Tail heavy but IT TURNS REALLY GOOD.

Push it all the way in on maidens and work it back as needed, if needed.

Did you use the provided motor? If not, you generated your problem as your motor may be way lighter thus moving the CG even further back.

No squirlly planes in this event please.....we will have to "mark" you for the gunners. Give rampman a chance to look 'er over. Everyone at the stadium is dying to see this....let's make 'em proud to be Americans!

Ace can also bring a spare cowl if you need it. We should have them in stock.

Do the C-47s need to have the same markings?

No, mark them uniquely so you don't lose it. Remember, from the meeting, if you lose it you are required to put it in.

Craig,
No "need" to disable one of your bec's. You can run both in this application and it wont do you any harm.

Jack,
Are we doing the reenactment in the fun fly area or the competition area?
