Yes, the Gr-25 is a bit lighter at 2.4oz, otherwise very comparable.

Hey Steve I've got the 2818 in my Uzi too, GREAT power. Maybe a little too heavy for the new Slick. I'm going to pull the park 480 and all the other goodies out of my 40" Edge when my new Slick gets here. I've got the 47" Edge now, so I need a little variety.

I hear ya Wayne, I've got a spare Torque 2830 and a Reaper 25 I'll test out in mine. I was just commenting for those that may have a spare 2818 and were considering the Reaper 30, same weight. It sure would give it power though, LOL

That's a possibility, but the list of projects in-progrsss stretches at least 6 or 7 months right now.

Honestly - many of you are going to hunt me down and beat the sh$@t out of me for saying this but - I like the pioneering steps towards the GS ARFs and the direction the Vyper is going - custom designs.

I'm kinda anxious to see what stuff can be made that isn't exactly a scale representation.

Also would almost pay triple the price to have one of the 6S planes moved up

I see the point of a 40'ish version of a plane we like already - but I love the "NEW" crap

I am going to be buying a new setup for this plane. I have a few 1800 25c lipos and will be using the hs65 servos, What esc and motor for the best performance do you all recommend. I would like something at least as powerful(but more power is always better if you can) as the park480 thats in my edge. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Sorry to keep hounding you all on this but I just want to make sure I am going to have a really great setup in this thing(and I dont want to buy something and it not have enough power and then I have to buy another) I have done that tooooo many times

We'll let you guys know the schedule when we're sure of it. I don't think we'll make March, we've got a BIG project underway which is taking up basically all the build space right now, I'll keep everyone advised.

I think the Hacker X-40-SB Pro ESC and A30-28S will be a pretty sweet combo for this plane.

EDIT - Gr-30 is a little heavier but loads of power, Torque 2830-1095 also a good option.

Ugh..I have that set for my SA Groove that I have no time to start building...

I also have either the 20t or 22t sitting in a mini Fliton..wonder if I should put both sets into two other small planes

What are the 20/22t motors good for?
