The text says 90mm from leading edge but the diagram just below that, shows a picture of the plane with the CoG marked at 50mm back.
There is no way I see that this plane will fly at 90 mm back.

But may just get and 1800kv motor and be done with it.

Picture in my manual show's 50mm but written as "IDEAL" CG at 90mm. I flew mine twice at 50mm and it flew great, but I always list mine nose heavy by a couple of degrees. It did tilt back once on the way out to the flight line but I was going a little up hill and the ass squated. Again, I don't have the side fins on mine as I didn't want the exhaust airflow blocked more than it already is.

Congrats Sniper! great to hear 50mm back is perfect CG.

How did it handle? Slow down much for landing or pretty quick?

Thanks,
James

Your turn James... I think just about any afternoon/early evening this week I can go with you. Just bring the video camera when we go. I'll be glad to shoot it for you.

Looks Like We Are In The Same Range Of Weight, I Think I'll Get That Tail Bounce You Say You Got Taxi To The Flight Line, But I'm Thinking The Trust Will Help Keep The Nose Down On Take Off.

Glad You Where Successful On The Maiden

No receiver pack, I'm using a CC BEC. I decided to go with a 6s 4100 pack which balances fine and puts me at 6.75 Lbs.

Also looking forward to the maiden of your Eagle 100.

Yes it slowed down, but I had a few bounces, Because the landing gear is pretty close to the CG it makes it a little difficult but just take your time. Even with small wings it does glide pretty nice, even at 7lbs. I'm going to try and put an intake ring and exhaust tube on it and change motors. I think an ARC 950kv on 12S will work nicely.

Does the thick wing make it pretty slow?

Not slow really, but controllable.
