....KBDD orange dampners went into my EXI head without any trouble. they fit snug for a stiffer blade, i did not trim them....they work so well for me that i replaced all my 500 dampners with them

Anybody using GensAce batteries with their EXI500. If so,which one? I have heard good things about GensAce but have never seen one in person. My biggest concern is size and what size will fit under the canopy. I have done the frame mod on my Heli.

No I'm using 2600's. I'm a cheap bast&^d lol! got a lot of them for $29

To get some of the 3000 and 3300 you will need to do the frame mod. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...25617&page=525

I did some more Google work and did not find a 3000mah 6S GensAce battery. I did find this one http://www.hobbypartz.com/98p-25c-3300-6s1p.html I am concerned about the fit. Anybody using this bad boy in their EXI500?

What duration do you get with the 2600 mHills51 and what kind of flying. Sport/scale or 3D? Is this the one you use http://www.hobbypartz.com/98p-25c-2600-6s1p.html

Those will fit with the frame mod. I get 5 minute with time to spare flying mild 3D in the 500e. I get only 31/2 in my 500pro with 3000+ head speed doing nothing but 3D

Yes in fact it's the new Align 500pro's that you have to modify to fit.

Does anyone have any experience with these motors?

Has anyone used the trueblood green dampers?

My 500 is ready to go, just awaiting electronics now. Finally got fed up waiting for the YEP80A to come back in stock and canceled it and reordered separately, I'll use a Plush 60A I have laying around for testing while I wait. After putting all the upgrades on it I have almost enough parts to build an entire second helicopter, just need a tailcase and tail grips, a bottom plate and side panels.

Figured out the best way to mount a Pro canopy on an ESP is to just extend the canopy spacers by about 6mm (they won't touch the canopy otherwise) and mount it like an SEv2 canopy by hooking it under (not in) the canopy clip.

" about this issue I didn't read it on this thread I was looking at a different one about how the screws get loose. It appiers the screws do break off it's a known issue I suggest anyone running the HK or EXI 500 stock tail rotor assy to replace the screws.
Fastenal has metric grade 12-9 screws for cheaper than those places. Trimcraft has good prices on 18-8 stainless steel ones, which I prefer for everything but the blades and grips because they generally bend before the aluminum parts and don't just snap off but also hold up to repeated cycles of being removed and tightened without rounding out.
