My son didn't fly this race so his Macchi stayed in the trailer.
Our next race is May 23 in Kingman.

So you getting ready for the next race Terry?
Well my canopy got busted a little beyond repair so I ordered a new one from Tomas and it was at my front door in two days, kinda freaky. Thanks Tomas for the fast service. About 3 weeks to go until our next race. I have a feeling it is going to be hotter than all get out.

Yes, we race in Kingman this Saturday. Hobby People will have the Hurri on sale for $99 on Memorial day. I may buy one more. A lot will depend on how Kingman goes.

Hurricane 46 - YS 91
Hi Jake, glad to hear she flew great & came back in one piece. I have been flying a VQ Hurricane 46 fitted with an ASP 70 four stroke. Getting her off the ground and flying is a piece of cake, but after 2 years of flying her, I still dread having to land this plane. I have the gear raked right forward (looks very un-scale like) and still she wants to peck the ground as soon as wheels touch.........Too fast..? Well I have tried to slow her up a bit more and she rewards me like this. Just as I think I have aced the landing, she drops a wing and clatters onto the tarmac. (Usually breaking something..!!) A great looking plane in flight, but a b***h to land.
