Cool
EuroCopter Tiger Coaxial thinking about stocking in store.

Here's the coaxials we're considering reselling, it's probably got the best looking scale fuselage I've seen on this size coaxial to date:

If we do decide to buy them we'll also be providing the fuselage and spares for people that want to convert their current coaxial over to the Eurocopter body.

Whether or not we do order and stock them of course depends on public interest and how well they fly. I've got a sample coming now, when and if it arrives here I'll give it a flight test to see how it does. At that point if enough people show an interest we'll probably put the helicopters on site for pre-order. Cost should run about the same as the Esky Lama V4 72mhz. We will also offer an upgraded version with a 2.4ghz 4in1.

4Channel Eurocopter Coaxial (1 min 14 sec)

4Channel KA-52 Coaxial (1 min 53 sec)

For your reference, it's an EuroChopper Tiger, the one that appeared in James Bond's Golden Eye. It's fairly detailed, nice looking...

I won't buy one unless you get rid of the roundell and put on Stars and Bars. Of course, I probably won't buy one anyway since I already have too many coaxes.

Other than that it is really nice.

If it looks like a duck, quacks like a duck ...

I honestly didn't pay that much attention to the shape of the canopy, but the thread title and original post have been edited.

We'll be selling the canopy only for people that don't want to buy another coaxial.

Chipmunks in Pennsyltucky? I thought it was ground hogs in February?

The Tiger is a very nice middle weight attack helicopter... it's tough enough to do many stuns that RC helicopters do. Imagine how sturdy its rotor system needs to be in order to do moves like these:

ILA 2006 - Eurocopter Tiger Aerobatics (2 min 51 sec)

Although I still like the new Cobra Z better.

Nice video. If I remember right the EuroCopter was in the game "Gunship!" that came out for PC in the late 90's. I don't remember it being able to do loops and inverted flight in the game though!

As far as the fuselage of the coaxial, it is a two piece fuselage. Unsure of how it's mounted, but the frame appears to be a Lama V4 clone. So theoretically the fuselage will work with the Lama V4 and CX2 choppers.

We'll also be carrying KA-52 coaxials and their accompanying fuselages as well. You can't really see it in the picture, but the canopy has a globe on each side of it that has blinking blue and red lights to make it easier to night fly.

Btw, the same company also makes a Comanche!

I just watched a flight video of the KA-52, Eurocopter, and Comanche. They appear to do about 15 mph STOCK!

They come with adjustable flybars and appear to share quite a few parts with the Lama/CX2. I'll know more when I get the sample in to test fly.
