21st Annual Southwest Classic
=======================

Just a quick reminder that the 21st Annual Southwest Classic will be
held on February 21st and 22nd, 2009 at Schnepf Farms in Queen Creek,
AZ.

This years' precision duration tasks will be:

Saturday: 4, 8, 10 & 6 min.

Sunday: 3, 5 & 9 min.

Landings will be ladder format (similar to last year), however the
center sweet spot will made slightly larger.

If you haven't signed up, please do so as soon as you can, as it makes
it a lot easier and faster for us to assign flight groups and ensure
that we can accommodate your timer choices. Registration closes
February 15th or sooner. T-Shirt orders must be in by February 7th,
2009.

It is easy to sign up!

The registration form is available for download at www.casl.net. Want
to save the stamp and licking the envelope? Use our online form at
http://www.rcsoaring.com/signups.shtml. PayPal, checks and cash
accepted.

So hurry up, get your entry in and we'll work on getting the equipment
tuned up for the big weekend. We'll see you there...

registration, you need to sign-up by this Saturday, February 7th.
Contest registration will close on Sunday, February 15th.

Also, due to popular demand, the landing task has been modified to be
a 15' runway-style landing.

DATE: February 21 and 22, 2009

Also will like to clarify that if that winds do change I will be turning the landing zone around so that way there will not be NO down wind landing. Yes it's RUNWAY style landing NO Dot or any surprises. So hurry up and sign up is going to be fun, plus the weather has been awesome in AZ. Hope to see you all soon.
