Getting ready to test the plane as soon as wind dies down, I'm runnig with DF v 15 and 3600KV motors from eflite, plane probably weights 60oz, Motors and DF units claim 2.8lbs of static thrust on 4s. Anyone have any idea to performance? Im using HET Tsanumi 72 controllers (2), Outrage 30c 2200 mAh (2), (2) DF 15 eflite.

your going to need a bigger batt to see your 2.8 lbs....those fan/motor are suppose to have a 3200 ish batt.

Added picture of Jolly Roger F4, Will probably belly land but need to becare of attach angle so I do not break of the elevators, FYI same problem belly landing the F -15 from eflite, since hole elevator moves you reall need to becarefull landing if you do not use the gear.

I thought that you multiple your cont amp times your MAH to get amp draw, in my case 2200 MAH X 30c 66 amp, and most eflite/or Thunder power stuff is 20c especially when they test, so 20c X 3200 MAh 64 amp, so even though I will not have as long as flight time I should have better performance with lighter packs 230gram with wire and deans, compared to 408 grams(3200mAh 4S 14.8V 20C LiPo) Eflite battery

Please let me know if this is the case?

I flew my Cutlass this summer, with a 2200 4s Excite 25c pack. Using a minifan and Astro 805 3700 Kv. No problems. 5 min flights w/ thrtl management. So if you have 30c packs and the plane balances, I see no problems. Just as long as the Eflite fans can move the air as well as a minifan and you do not need full power to fly, you should have reasonable flight times. Your ESC's are well above the load, so reduced power flying should be no problem. I suggest a seperate BEC, if you donot already have one.
