TWF/PNF Blingeron

Thought I share a few "Bench Fly" pics of one of my projects. It's bit of Xica meets Jart. A 58" WS wingeron, 6062 airfoil, full flying stab and Winch Doc's blingeron. Construction will be a lost foam glass and carbon fuse, with carbon bagged wings and glass bagged stabs.

This build has been delayed a bit as I'm also in the process of building a Dutchy DD-51 along with Bruce Lewis.

Care to give any details on the FF stab?? I'm building and OD 100" wingeron at the moment and want to use a FF stab as well.

Looks nice, hope it flies as good as it looks.

Cheers
Steve

No, It's just a piece of white foam shaped and sanded round. It's ready for some packing tape
and 3M-77'd fabric.

Here's a couple of pic's taken from Surfimps Wasabi build log. Make a bellcrank out of fiberglass material. The bellcrank rotates on brasss tube in the vertical stab And a carbon rod connects the horz stabs together. It's just about the same as a wingeron in the tail except they move in the same direction.

That's looking very nice! Kinda' like a "Jica" or "Xart".

.......that's a cool flick, BTW.

A few more pic's

Thanks Bill & Reed. I have pretty high hopes for this one, as we all do when building something new. My last project came out a little heavy for its intended purpose (50 oz carbon fuse Fish) ugg.

It's all about the pursuit of the magically perfect plane.....

Here's a few more pic's
