Great video James! I really like that last part. It was nice to finally see my plane not being retrieved or hitting another plane

How times have changed...Surfimp flying a kite on the bluff. Pretty cool watching Jose Louis and Dad flying side by side - Kites *and* Weasels.

I still haven't even looked at my video camera to see if I have any usable footage. Based on Mark's questions to me while he was trying to use it I'm guessing nothing will be usable. Mark, remind me to learn you up on that thing.

Haha, I was trying to get Josť Luis entertained so I could get to flying... the problem was those darn kites didn't fly right and kept crashing LOL.

Oh well, next year I'll show up with more than four hours sleep, and not having done a six hour drive the morning of, and hopefully have better luck keeping the boys entertained

I knew you could work your camera. It's you working mine that I was talkin' about

You've been back since yesterday after WF, Golf, and SEFF and you don't have the footage posted yet? Slacker!

Good point! I'm trying to prioritize the boys over everything else, because honestly I can do most any of this stuff for a long, long time (I mean look at Mark Wood, after all... ). The kids are only young once!

Dream Flight Studio under mandatory evacuation

getting really nasty here at 7 pm

hot hot hot, humidity around 8% which is unheard of in this area.

Richter studio is in a very bad place, and we are very worried about it.

I heard he was all packed up.

I am worried about our flying spot above the ruins too....that is just where the fire is headed now.....as you know, the brush in the canyon towards sb is super thick and would burn like wildfire.

Right this minute it is burning up the canyon with hundred foot flames!

Hey Dan " the inept one"

We "bumped" into each other at the Weaselfest a few weeks ago. It was great
to meet you. I just posted something on another thread dealing with the SB
Fire and informed everyone that I was one of the 30 homes which was burned
to the ground. Lost everything, including all records and photos of my models.

You mentioned that you may have gotten some good pics of my Coyote and
maybe the Ninja, which would be the only ones I will have. In any case, would like to hear from you.

Happy Trails
Joe Gardner
