I gots me a predicatment...Peel the monokote from an ARF?
I am wanting to put together a P 51 from Top Flite, and they have an RTC (ready to coat) only in the giant size. I am wanting the 60 size Gold edition arf but i want to put an aluminum coat on it. Has anyone ever peeled off the existing monokote to replace it with one of their choice? I know it would take a while and would require precision, but i don't really want to put a kit together now. Any help would be great.

It can be done but the color and adhesive will NOT all come off. No biggie if you are using a darker color - like aluminum.
