a bit off topic, but: what kind of motor mount are you using on your wing? I have a 48in that I set up for sail and would like to add a power system...

Thanks, credit goes to the wife on that one!

The mount is one that I used to make for wings kits back in the day. It's just a piece of .090" aluminum that I punch a few holes in and bent at roughly 90 degrees. They're ridiculously easy to make and work really well, you can make small tweaks by hand to adjust thrust angle if necessary. Most of it is done just by eyeball, the length and width are roughly determined by the size of motor being used, then punch two larger holes for ventilation and two small holes for the screws. Holler if you decide to make them and need any more info.

Hi all!

Just stumbled across these pics from earlier this year - flying my Extra MX2 on a sunny summer day! Geeez this plane is BRIGHT! Easy to see BTW pics were taken with a Nikon D90 DSLR.
