GyroBot 900 Three Axes Stabilizer Video Beginnermode and Beginner Acro Mode
Dear Sirs,
the LF-Technik Gyrobot 900 now has a new software version V1.03 with the Beginnermode and Beginner Acro Mode. You can switch between the Standard Mode (for 3D, FAI and normal Flying) and the two Beginnermodes during flight. The Beginnermodes work with Flybarless and Flybar Helicopters. Do US customers have to pay 19% tax for an exported item? Doesn't make sense to pay tax in a county you do not live in. I understand if it is an export tariff. If there was a way to exclude the tax then this would be more in line with other products currently available in the market. Of all the products out there, I think the gyrobot 900 should be standard equipment on all helis in the near future. The thing that will prevent this type of market saturation is the extremely high price.
Sad thing is that if you don't get your product out there and saturate the market, the chinese will eventually copy and provide the same product at a much cheaper price. Guai already has a flybarless system. All that is needed is to add higher quality components and the different program parameters that the gyrobot has. The stabilization feature and small size is what really makes your product stand above the rest. The price is the Achilles heal. |

Americans shouldn't have to pay euro VAT. Most online stores in the EU remove VAT if you checkout to a foreign shipping destination...
I don't pay Euro tax either, but I get charged SA VAT when it lands here.

I have heard from US customers that bought the Gyrobot that they were forced to pay the Tax. That is why I brought it up.

From what I can see the 900 has a beginner mode and a beginner 3d mode. It keeps the heli level if you let go the stick. Basically allows you to hover upright or inverted easily. Also a good bailout system when you find yourself in trouble.
Seems the 700 does not have this capability. |

I will be getting a shipment of them in soon (mostly 700's, working with Lutz on shipping them), so we should have them available more readily in the US now. I will be ordering them with USB controller only, unless there are other requests...
Part of the hold out was that many people wanted the English instructions, that's no longer an issue anymore... For those interested that don't want to order from overseas, drop me a line... -P |
