Hello Marko!

Where in Slovakia do you fly? Is there slope soaring nearby? I was thinking of traveling in Europe during my summer holiday, July-August time frame. Still doing research to make a plan. Croatia and the black sea area also were looking interesting.

Welcome to the Blue Plaid Squadron.

Thank You very much for warm welcome,
I can just confirm Paloīs great job. We are looking forward to see you here. Itīs not problem to manage trip to slovak slope soaring resorts. It lasts 3 hours by car to get from Croatia, through Hungary to Slovakia. The best time for you to be here is 9-11/07/2010 because you have an opportunity to watch and personally fly FXJ and F5J EURO contest. Itīs possible to lend you an electric-powered glider, if you do not own one. Let me show you atmosphere of slovak gliding: http://f5jfun.com/euro2009/holicgrup2_2.jpg http://picasaweb.google.cz/ruisl.f/S...Donovaly_2009#

Bob, this is especially for you. Today it was very windy, so I add only a short shot of how it works. A better video coming soon (I hope).

Welcome Marko

It's always great to hear from the younger people in out hobby and to see them fly. Hope you enjoy flying as much as I have over the years. It's a great hobby and there are sooo many things to do in it. I would love to go there to see how you fly over in Slovakia. I lived in Holland for 5 years while I was in the Air Force and loved every minuet of it. I didn't get a chance to see all of Europe while I was there, but I enjoyed quite a bit of travel while there.

Palo

I watched the movie of the flaps and they look like they work great. It really comes down whit those flaps and they look very effective. How is the glide whit them up? Did you notice any differance in the way it flies or did you try it without them first? I looks great though.

Hi Curt,

You could have a second job as a song writer. That's really good.

I agree...when I try to sing that tune as "Electric Pike Perfect with X-Tail", it doesn't rhyme at all
