I was at the Seattle Flower & Garden Show on Sun. In the lunch area, they had a guy from the Andes of Peru, playing flute music. It worked in that setting as back ground music to your Latte.

A guy from the Andes is not playing a pan flute,different thing,single tone flutes play and sound better than those multi blended note monsters they call a pan flute.Single clear notes one at a time always sound better than some mix of tones.

I don't know about that. An orchestra has many mixed notes and it sounds pretty good to me.....

It can all sound well,and it can all work together to make a fine sounding whole thing,it's how the parts combine and how it combines that make the whole thing work.Yanni has some merit as do other people,to be fair Yanni makes better choices with his people that play with him than most "new age music folks".

Not trying to start a music war here - different strokes for different folks - it's like I can't stand Carole King music, and Mrs Z. loves her music.

There's a lot of stuff on U-tube with music from Peru, etc. I looked at one group's music. They have a couple of tunes that were really interesting.

Here in the SW, there's a few native American musicians that are really good with flute. Carlos Nakai and Alex Maldonado are two of my favorites. The sound of mourning doves (which are numerous here) combined with the sounds of Inca doves and White-winged doves is like a never-ending flute concert here LOL

I am not too keen on the Pan flute, but there are some tunes that are OK.

I for one like a small percentage (maybe 5%) of new age music. Most of it sounds the same.

... this small is only test model ! Final model will have 20 cells, 2500 mm wingspann and approx. 900-950 g all up weight.

Can you get us info as to how to acquire/build it?

That's a great looking bird. Where did you get such light cells?? I looked around for some, but everything I found was to heavy for a solar powered plane, unless you got to some very big size.
