Those look great palo. Blue is my favorite color. You have done an outstanding job on them. I loved your Shakespear quote. Keep up the good work.

Palo,
Don't listen to Andy. The one on the left with the conventional tail looks better

Here's the new bird, the PZ T-28. Really lousy glide ratio, about 1:1.5

Palo,

Do give us a flight report when you get the chance to fly them. Really like the XL Bolero. Great job!

No question at all.....those are REALLY nice looking models. Of course the V-tail looks better as V tails typically do.

There's a local guy here who put a Slow-V wing (no ailerons) on a Slow-Stick fuse, and then discovered that an inverted V-tail works better because applying "rudder" doesn't induce a torque contrary to the intended induced banking of the wing. He used tricycle gear to make this work.

CV: Huh? I thought Bob Cook was the founder of the BPS, or is Bob Cook prez of the No V-tails division?

Whenever I see a V-tail on a sailplane, I get an irrational notion that the plane is primarily a hotliner or slope/dynamic soarer
