the cap35 has a slightly shorter tail moment so it tumbles better, KE and high alpha KE (HAKE) is more locked in, the sabre35 is more stable in harrier and hover, and rolling harrier is easier

BTW if the sabre or cap pull to the canopy in KE raise the ailerons (reflex up not droop down) a little, slightly past zero.

Yep, Spaz nailed it.

I like the Cap over the Sabre personally, but I like mashing the sticks into the corners!

I think I have a similar flying style to Rookie so I think I will like the cap as well.

I have a 90g 950kv turnigy that I was thinking of putting on it. Too much? I was thinking Bro Powah!!!

Well i will prolly pull the trigger on the cap this week sometime then. I need to get some more "DARNED" main shafts for my sabre too, I keep bending them.

Thanks for the tip Spaz. I was getting a little frustrated at first when I started flying my sabre because of this but then just started flying it and I got over it quickly but now I know how to fix it.

the biggest motor i ever put on mine was the valuehobby E450 1100kv which is 2.5oz or close to 90g with mount and prop adaptor.. personally i think it flies much better lighter, with the E400 it is balistic.. with the heavier motor you need to put the battery over the LE

Nice to know! I will put that thing on there anyways, its what I have. Maybe later down the road I will get another 400, I do like the 400 on my sabre a lot.

Thanks, Spaz, I ordered the motor and speed control from Value Hobby ... I just got my Sabre 47 flying with a G46 on it.

Thanks for great airplanes and all your help, this electric stuff is complicated.

Has anyone tried any of the Emax ES08A servos in the Sabre 35 or any other 3D plane?

I'm trying to find some other brands the same size and torque as Futaba
S3114's but w/no luck.

I'm flying the ES08's in my much larger and heavier Kalteisen EPP Extra, and haven't had a problem yet!

Spaz is using them in his Sabre too IIRC

I'm loving my Sabre. The ES08's are working great. Can't say the same for the Emax prop. I didn't have much luck with the 11x4.7. Once I swap out to my favorite 11x3.8 APC all was good.
ValueHobby has been great to deal with and have earned my business. Quick shipping and great prices.

Thanks to Spaz for a great E-slab.
