I'm using Park 480/910, TP 1350 an APC E 13x4. Too much but it hollers when you romp on it

Dude,
Spring has sprung. But I'm sure that mean old winter will be back.

Monday: Sunny, with a high near 56.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 60.

Good 'ol Phil predicted early spring this year, looks like he's right again!!!!
Burned through 5 packs yesterday. 2 on my Cosmos and 3 on my Sabre. The Cosmos gets me warmed up for my docile Sabre. This plane puts a smile on my face hrs after I fly .

I'm seriously thinking about this plane, I already have the gear for it just sitting doing nothing and the price is right. I have one question though, is the fuse made of balsa combined with cf, it looks like it in the pictures. That would definitely be a nice feature and would put me over the edge on buying one.

We don't need no stinkin' CF. Seriously though, I have been bashing mine around for over 4 years and outside of a motor mount which is home brewed, I have had no problems. I have plopped and dorked it so many times i am amazed it doesn't flap its wings when i fly

I didn't know it at first, but after closer examination the fuse has CF the whole length. I also reinforced my motor mount with a piece CF sheeting. Planted her nose down this afternoon ..... But only broke the prop! This plane rocks!

I went back and read through the thread and saw this posted, so I went ahead and pulled the trigger. This thing looks like such a blast, I am fired up to get it together. What size motor works in this, I have a couple in the 60gm weight range that produce good power and I have one in the 75gm weight range, I was planning on running the bigger one unless it creates a problem with the cg.

I have 3 different motors to try, and I can go with 3s 1000mah 20c, 3s 1350mah 25c, 3s 1500mah 25c, or 3s 1800mah 25c batt's to try. I'll start as light as possible and work my way up from there. I'm kind of excited to get this one in the air, I need a decent small 3D plane and this one looks very good. Seems to have the floatiness of a foamy but more of a precise feel like balsa, best of both worlds.

I like the big prop disk on of the 13x4 APC E and the 910 KV motor seems to like the 1350TP. Flight time is limited by some folks standards but I accept the trade off. Never timed it but I am a short show guy myself
