Frank,
Yep, in balsa it's getting harder and harder.
In general, you have the
Sabre 35 and the Spaz Cap- both from Value Hobby.
Primo 15 and Mojo 25 Kits from Paul Swany at swanyhouse.com
The Skeeter series, free plans from Quicker of this site for scratch builders.
There are others but these are my favorites.

Finished mine up last week and got it up in the air, love the Sabre 35.
Just a straight build, the only change was to the landing gear. I change them into a MOJO 40 style landing gear. The mod on the gear is holding up great.

Here's a pic. I used a torch to the gear red hot and gave it a little twist to point forward. The legs still go in front of the little wood support peice. Drill a couple of elongated holes and your done.
I also used three of bigger straps about 1/4 of and inch.
Now a little white covering to fix my mistakes.
Hope this helps.

I'm gonna have to source some CF gear or something. Lighter setup helps a lot but I still get gear splay and prop strikes on crappy fields no matter how light I drop her in.

bend yourself a new set with some good 3/32 wire.. just make the part that goes into the fuse longer so it comes out the other side.. then it holds up.. and soak the ply area with thin ca... and fly it in a harrier and set it down nice and slow or hand catch from a hover
