Commercial Jet Design to get 70% Lower Fuel Use

I get an online newsletter (NASA Tech Briefs) that mentioned new things being developed. One of our soaring Gurus, Mark Drella, a professor at MIT, was the lead designer. He is one of the designers of a new wide fuselage design (termed a double bubble) with the jet engines mounted on the tail not the wings. You can see the article by pasting the URL below onto your browser. I hope this works. Sometimes one can't do this

Lee, very cool. Thanks for sharing. No wonder we've seen less of Mark on the RCGroups handlaunch forums. He was at the Polecat contest a few years ago.
