Eh, eh, eh. 5KW 123 pack

Latest issue of Consumer Reports has a test article on a hot rod version of a Prius using an additional add on pack of a 123 5 KW battery pack.

Uh, conversion pack costs about 10K or so. That's about 2000 or more cells.Gulp.

So my New Years wish is I hope I find one that fell out along the road some where.

Hey, it could happen!

Green means

The consumer pays thru the nose for anything. Closest thing to voluntary robbery.

" I do not mind the prices, if I hear the word, GREEN ! "

I can see the headlines now...

"RC modeler convicted of Prius theft to harvest battery pack to feed model aircraft addiction."

First catalytic converters, next is sweet battery pack...

Hey, I said I found it just laying there. That's my story and I'm sticking to it! Ofda, wonder where I put those special Torx drivers that match up to the bolts.

Didn't mean to make an implication there. 2000+ A123 cells rolling down the road might have me digging around for my ski mask, however...

Heck I would just take 30-40 cells. Leave it functional they might not even notice the difference. LOL
