Can I run two chargers off 12v power supply?

I have an 18amp power supply and wanted to know if I can run two chargers off that. Doing 1 batt an hr is killing me. Thanks

Yes. I do the same with mine every once in a while, and it only puts out 20 amps. Runs cool, but will charge both batteries with it putting out 13.8v as per my accucel-6 says.

Ive had as many as 4 chargers off of my 13amp computer power supply. As long as they are not charging big lipos...(ie, 4 and 5 amps or more, ) they did fine.

I run 3 chargers on mine with no issues.

Just add up the current pull from each charger.

So if you are charging a 2500mAH pack, a 1200mAH pack and a transmitter pack (2000mAH) then your power supply needs to be capable of producing 2500+1200+2000= 5700mA, allow a little for losses and you are looking at a 6A minimum supply rating (CONTINUOUS).

I do it all the time with my 30 amp power supply. As others have said just make sure your charger has the amp rating to handle what your pulling from it. I also made a multitap box with one input from the power supply and 6 outputs to the chargers.
