Question
Am new to this hobby and need a little help

Ok well recently one of my cousins got into this hobby of the nitro rc trucks and now i really want one too. The problem is that i went to my LHS well actually 2 of them and i asked whats a good starter truck that is good for racing and once in a while go bashing but that doesnt brake easy and maintnance etc... well some will recomend me the Savage SS Big Block, the Revo 3.3, and the T-maxx 3.3. Well they all tell me the savage is the best for bashing and not that good for racong but in the other hand they say the revo is good for racing and not as good as the savage in bashing. Now the tmaxx all ive been hearing is that its a terrible truck and its better to go with anything else and well these people seems like they just want to make a sale right away but i want one that isnt to complicated, not a whole of maintnance, easy to fix and something thats not too fragile. I would really appreciate if you guys can help in deciding what to get because am kind of clueless right now from those 3.

well first you need to know what your doing because nitro is dangerous and
are some times confusing, what mgt guy said mgt's are great a basher and
have alot of room to work on and they can take a beating. t-maxx has problems
and revo is a great truck as well and savage is pretty good but they have no room
at all.

nitro burns your hands it can explode, it is the most flammable it can make you blind
it's hard to put out, one hit of a ash on nitro will explode just alot of things you
need to watch out for.

im not trying to make it scary all im saying is it dangerous....
it won't light if it's on your truck IF you light it when it's spilled on the ground
and you tried to light it with your glow plug it will catch. i have been in nitro
for over 4 years. i think i know what im talking about when i say it can be
dangerous........

so over all do you guys think the revo is a better choice over the savage because am on a very tight budget around 500-530.

It's only dangerous if you make it dangerous by being a little pyro and lighting it if you use good sense then youll be fine.
