Thanks for the local knowledge Rossmans! Warwick castle looks very AP-able from the park. (unless there is some jobsworth rule in place.
I will also be roughing-it without my better half (hopefully it will not be that cold in July) I have some serious building to do between now and then, having just about retired my aging AP glider and written off my Klick Stick last year. I will bring as many toys as possible in the magic bus, perhaps as many as Hogster this time.... Cheers Andrew PS Great news on the Job Andy, contrary to the press it is going to be a good year.

I am staying in my caravan on the Warwick racecourse site during the second week of Easter so I will do a reconnoitre. If the weather plays ball I will try to get some AP in.
I still have to build a new plane (EZ*) for my new Canon A570is camera. Richard |

Sound great. I'll see if I can get to it.
Gray, you might want to edit the first post so the month is included, I had to search a bit before I found it was July. Neil. |

Guys,
A question not related to the meet, but still AP related.. I'm looking at building a FoamBoard AP plane, but cant find anywhere to buy the foamboard in less than very large packs at a high cost. Does anyone have contacts or know where i could buy this in as little as single sheet increments? I need at lease 1 sheet of 48"X96" (1.2m X 2.4m) and a few (3 or so) of A0/A1 size. All sheets should be 5mm. No colour preference, simple white will do. Any pointers would be much appreciated. Thanks Charl |

Hi Charl
Are you referring to Depron or some other kind of coated foamboard, if it's Depron you are after I recommend concept models the link will take you to the materials page they don't stock 5mm but they do 2mm, 3mm and 6mm Hope it helps Cheers DaveB...> |

Hi Dave,
Thanks for this source, will keep it anyway as i sometimes use Depron. Foamboard is basically depron covered with a PVC sheet on either side. It's incredible strong but still very light and easy to work with. Here is a company that supplies it... http://www.foamboard-store.co.uk/index.html Thanks Charl |

Charl - oh, THAT foamboard!
It appears to be the same paper-faced board as I use for mounting photos (it's not PVC-faced). Try art and framing suppliers - here's one stockist that I use, only because they have a branch that's local to me. http://www.lionpic.co.uk

UPDATE.
We have got a camp site sorted out: http://www.holtfarm.fslife.co.uk/ This is close to the venue for Sunday and offers some possible AP locations for Saturday. If anyone is thinking of coming and also camping please let me know so I can give them possible numbers and days required. We have quite a few interested in coming to the meeting but still room for more. For planning thread see: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1000758 Cheers Gray. |
