JR Diablo 2000 project Photo's
Just recieved my Diablo 2000 F3A 78" wing plus a 3D wing 71". If you want the details check at www.espritmodel.com. I will include updates to this thread as the project unfolds. I am going to use a Lehner 1940/14 5.2 - 1 GB 32 cell Sanyo 2600 NiMh. Thanks for looking

Lehner will work
Ken's getting the same set up as Michael Ramel used 3 years ago in his E-Factor to fly 7-minute FAI task with RC2000 NiCad cells; it'll work great with today's cells.

How does this motor compare to the 1930-10 with 6.0:1 GB in Kyle Mashima's E-Factor (Kyle purchased it from Michael Ramel). I'm trying to get some sort of handle on what I might need for a given project. Ed |

I'd be very surprised to find a 1930 motor in Kyle's plane. My money's on that this is a misunderstanding; the motor is a 1940/14

Dieter, you don't list the 1940-14 on your web site. Can you give us some data on it as well as price? Is it special order only? What's the max power available in scale aerobatic planes?

Yes, the 1940/14 is a special order item, because it fits no ShredAir plane; pricing is identical to the 1940/10 XC, and you'd be using the same 3095 controller. I don't know what max available e-power for scale aerobatic airplanes is right now. We're working on such a project, but I may not yet be at liberty to divulge details. -- Will we see you at the Celebration of Silent Flight in Washougal May 3/4?
